Cookie Policy

Version 0.1-draft · Last updated 6 July 2026

This policy explains what cookies PE Risk Profiler uses and why. Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser.

1. Cookies we currently use

Essential only — no consent banner required at this time

As of the date above, PE Risk Profiler only sets strictly necessary cookies used to keep you signed in and to protect your session. We do not currently use any analytics, advertising, or other non-essential cookies. Under UK/EU cookie law (PECR and the ePrivacy Directive), strictly necessary cookies do not require a consent banner — which is why you don't see one on this site right now.
  • Supabase authentication cookies — used to keep you signed in and identify your session securely. Without these, you would need to sign in again on every page. These are set by our authentication provider and cannot be disabled if you want to use the Service while signed in.

2. If this changes

If we add analytics, product-usage tracking, or marketing cookies in the future, we will update this policy first and add a cookie consent banner allowing you to accept or decline non-essential cookies before they are set.

3. Controlling cookies through your browser

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking the essential authentication cookie described above will prevent you from staying signed in to the Service.

4. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our use of cookies changes. Each version is labelled with a version number and a “last updated” date at the top of this page.
